HOPE started in 2017 by Joakim Sandström and Therése Sandström, a producer and a singer/songwriter who loves Jesus and wants to make their whole lives about Him. Joakim comes from Gothenburg, and Therése from Örebro, Sweden. They met at the Songwriters Academy of Sweden in Örnsköldsvik the year of 2010, and have ever since partnered up in love, marriage, faith and the calling upon their lives to write music. Sarah comes from a musical family and as soon as she could talk she started singing and she wrote her first song at the age of 5, and the song was about how amazing Jesus is. With her father being a pastor she grew up with music in church being a natural part of her life and because of that she was able to work with music in many different ways, and began leading worship at a very early age.
